Can I join the Navy while I'm a junior in high school?

I'm 17, and going into my junior year. Would I be able to join now? Or do I have to wait till I'm a senior? I'm just really eager to start my life. I've always wanted to join the navy. Please spare me the lectures about how hard it is. Believe me. I KNOW. I'm also aware that I can't actually join, I can only be put in the dep program.
