Help with Suicide Mission on Mass Effect 2?

Ok so with the first fight between Miranda and Jack I didn't have enough paragon/renegade to keep them both loyal so now Miranda is the only one that is not loyal. I had enough paragon/renegade to keep both Tali and Legion loyal. Now the real question, If I assign Miranda as the leader of the second team will she die and if she does should I chose Garrus or someone else? As I have said everyone is loyal but Miranda.
