How do you get teammate loyalties during the 2nd play through of mass effect 2?

During the first play through loyalty missions, at the end, there was a paragon/renegade dialogue option (which was required to get the loyalties) and during the second play through the game won't let me choose those options and i don't get the loyalty. Is there a special way to play the game in order to get the loyalties?
