Why are there so many less lefty closers in MLB?

It all comes down to the total number of right handed and left handed pitchers. How right handed people are born versus left handed people. Right handed people out weigh left handed people in population by a large number. So the amount of lefty pitchers in baseball is considerably less. And then even more less at the position of a closer.
