Is there anyway to have a ring permanently affixed to my body?

I have this ring, its from a very dear friend of mine. I haven't taken it off in almost three years. I've only ever lost it once but I worry something like that might happen again. I've been looking at body modification but haven't really found anything that fits with what I want to do. So just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or has heard of something like that. Please no comments about how its permanent or why would you want to do that. I have 5 tattoos, 6 piercings, I'm planning on getting more of both, after all this time, I don't need the lecture from someone not my mother.
