I am just wanting to hear stories. I have been thinking a lot about getting married at a young age. Yes my boyfriend and I have talked but we both agree that we aren't ready...we are only 18. Again I don't want to be lectured to not do it or even to do it because I am not going to yet. I would just like to know that marriage is possible even if it you didn't get married at a young age. Why did James Franco cut his arm off for that movie?

I just watched that 127 Hours movie with James Franco, and in case you haven't seen it, he has to cut his arm off!!! Like from the center of his forearm.. For a movie!!! They couldn't pay me enough to do that!! I just don't feel like it would be worth it all to cut your arm off, just for a movie. Not to mention, he had to crush it under a rock for the entire filming process!!! I would never actually hurt myself like that, no matter how much they paid me. I'm 22 and I've always thought I was kind of smart but when I think about it I'm not really smart at all. I have an old W W Chipper/Shredder Renegade 250. The engine has recently quit working, so I am looking for a similar replacement engine. Depends on the type of college. For profits care more about the money, so the letter is more of a protocol. With other colleges, they may not be understanding. Although, if it's a first time, they may let it slide based on the circumstances.

I would say stay in college until you graduate, because then at least you'll have qualifications too, then if you ever wanted to do somthing different later on in your life youve got the qualifications to do it, and at auditions you've also got the experiences from uni =] besides you could always do small acting roles while your on summer holiday and christmas holiday, like short things like commercials and short films and stuff, then you will have those experiences too and you could work on your CV and headshots whilst in uni, getting them up to date and prepared for any auditions and stuff. Should I quit my intern/job?

I interned at a place 3 months ago ,and everything started to go decently for the first 2 months. The main thing they taught me was data administration work and started me at $9 an hour which is just ok for a person like me with my qualifications. Anyways, I own my own website design business ,and 3 months + go by ,and my boss still considers me an intern. First of all, I use to have this great computer that was a fast computer that I could get my job done pretty quick. I type 95 wpm. So they remove this great computer ,and instead give me a 10 year old computer in which it's very hard to do my own work. My main contribution to the company was learning in my intern ,but 3 weeks before he makes a decision (my boss) whether to keep me or not he slams me with all of this work that involves learning a complete different piece of software ,and expects me to adapt. I adapt as fast as possible ,and constantly get lectures and whined at for making "mistakes." First of all, I developed the company intranet ,and have done Data Administration work ,and type 95 wpm in which they have not given me credit. He gives me a piece of software literally 2 days after hiring me ,and expects me to learn it ,and gets pissed because I made "mistakes" which is inevitable for a first time user on a certain software. And when I try to impress he shuts down my ideas or gets upset ,and then sometimes he even decides he likes them. It's about 2 weeks since I graduated ,and I am beginning to question whether my job is really worth it. Since then I have moved in which it takes me a 45 minute drive to go to work + traffic. So literally I am making $60 for 10 hours of my time which is poor I literally view this as working at McDonald's ,and driving so far to work there ,but this isn't the case. They are paying me to use my freaking brain ,and I am not getting respected for it. It's just I have so much anxiety from my whiny boss who can't stand "mistakes" even if they are minimal very very minimal ,and just because I am a person of great integrity have I stayed because I want to display true value to the company. However, they took away my good computer, they are giving me tasks I never was even taught ,and I ask for a job description and he responds that "until you don't make mistakes, your still an intern" so what the hell am I doing here? I've lost all my passion for working for this company ,and I just care about the paycheck I get every week. I literally don't care anymore. No respect, $9 an hour, computer taken for a crappy one, and I have done so much. He gives me some accounting problems today ,and I insert the data exactly as it is ,and it ends up being wrong. It was a compatibility issue that messed up my data because of the old piece of crap computer! Jobs are so hard to get especially at my age ,but I have raw talent. I've had big businessmen call me a genius because they know what I do. However, this boss I can't stand. What do you think? Should I quit it or look for a job while I work there? In mass effect 2 is is it absolutely necessary to have full paragon/ renegade for no one left behind?

Without having nearly full one or the other, you won't be able to resolve two arguments that will show up once you complete the participants' loyalty missions. Tali and Legion, and Miranda and Jack will each get into a fight, and without a lot of Paragon/Renegade you will have to choose one side in each of the fights, meaning that the other person will loose loyalty. You can still have the unloyal person survive, but you may have to try the final mission several times.

It's summer and I'm in university calculus 3 right now and there's this really smart high school sophomore next to me who I've become friends. This girl doesn't seem to take the class too seriously and always seems to be happy. She's easily acing the class while I'm just struggling to pass--even if it's a subject I enjoy. Also, she works amazingly fast through hw problems just recently assigned while the professor is lecturing and always seems to correct his errors. When I do my hw, I get stuck often and have to take time to think over my mistakes, but she breezed through each problem during class.... When I study with her and her friends they never seem focused, but always chat and get off task. If I ask her a question, she seems to know the answer every time. And although she claims to not be sure, it is always correct when I look it up later. I'm really jealous of her aptitude right now... especially since I'm studying so much yet always score lower than her every time. It gets me wondering if people are just born smart.

I have been researching my ancestry recently and discovered that my ancestors who came to America were originally from the Alsace region of France. They left about 2 years after the Franco-Prussian War when Alsace was incorporated into Germany. In the 1880 census my 2nd great-grandfathers home country is listed as France, my 2nd great grandmothers is listed as being from Baden. In the 1900 census it says they are both from Germany. I also understand that Alsace at the time (1800's) had a heavy influence of german culture and people from the region even spoke a dialect of german and alot were even ethnic German. I also have a surname with German origins .Sooo when people ask me what my ancestry is...do i say German or French?

So for a end of school history project I chose Fascism in Europe. I was researching leaders like Salazar, Franco, and Mussolini and the more I learn about them the more I am starting to like them. Their countries were strong Catholic countries that held prestige and had pretty good economies(e.g. the Spanish Miracle 1959-1974) Now I know Fascism would never work in America b/c of the constitution and the fact that we are not a country made up of one ethnicity. I know the Mussolini had political enemies killed but I was reading that other than the Spanish Civil War everyone got a trial in Franco Spain( I don't know how true that is but it was written in a pretty legit looking book) Also crime was really low in Spain, Portugal, and Italy and (again only from books I've looked through) The only time you needed to be afraid of the government was when you were doing something wrong. I would love it if people who actually lives through Franco Spain or the Estado Novo could answer but anyone who loves history and knows their stuff it's much appreciated!! thanks in advance!! Ok so with the first fight between Miranda and Jack I didn't have enough paragon/renegade to keep them both loyal so now Miranda is the only one that is not loyal. I had enough paragon/renegade to keep both Tali and Legion loyal. You should dye it gradually lighter over time. For instance if your hair is dark brown dye it to light brown/dirty blonde, then wait at least 2 weeks until you dye it again.. then you should try bleaching it. You should be using shampoos that help repair color treated hair and that make your hair healthier. Also when you do bleach it apply heat from a blow dryer so your hair gets as light as possible and it shouldn't turn orange if you apply heat.. Hope this helps xoxox

Even though you like modeling, which is nice, modeling is stupid to me. It's because I'm sure you are a beautiful skinny and full of personality girl. Why isn't my delay pedal acting properly?

So i just bought a tc electronic nova delay pedal. I tried it out at the store and it sounds great! But now I'm at home trying to figure out why it isn't working properly. I'm playing out of a tube amp. Egnater Renegade. I tried all plug-in examples. Even the effects loop, which is what I want to use cause I use distortion & overdrive from my amp. And I plug it up correctly. But when I turn everything on, there's a lot of feedback, just the ehhhhh noise ya know? And there's no sound coming from my guitar, well there is, but I literally have to turn my amp all the way up just to here a little sound, and even then it's not loud AND my delay pedal is giving delay to the feedback and not my guitar. idk whats wrong? I'm using instrument cables. I don't have the short patch cables yet but I heard you can use regular patch cables. Someone help please? Let me know if i must provide more info.

It's summer and I'm in university calculus 3 right now and there's this really smart high school sophomore next to me who I've become friends with. Why do you like C&C Renegade?

Wow, I haven't played that for years. That was a great game. I enjoyed it because you were able to play as some of the franchises iconic characters, in first person. That was a great game. The single player was awesome in that you could play as Havoc, and again...that was great. Driving tanks, levels inside the submarine. It was a refreshing step forward for the franchise, and it would have been nice to see them do it on the Red Alert side.

I'm 22 and I've always thought I was kind of smart but when I think about it I'm not really smart at all. How do I write and read, being less analytical about the literary use?

I used to write brilliantly before, imaginatively and creatively, but now it's gone to my head that if I stop reading books and preoccupying myself in story, poem-writing, english-kind of activities my writing will falter. Now whenever I write, I analyse everything I think of. Each word seems alien, as if I'm only using phrases I know to make up what I write. I keep analysing my sentence structure, and hope I'm not using too many connectives because there's always that thing at the back of my head-that I wouldn't get such good grades if I didn't work so hard to get them. I believe that I really don't have much talent. I am 12, I know this sounds like a bit of a useless thing to think of at 12. :) Too many connectives indicates lack of knowledge in actual ways to vary sentences, and I feel like I'm only getting away with descriptive language. Can you give me a bit of a lecture to get my imagination back into gear and get me reading and writing with the flow again. Even when I read I feel like I don't have the actual ability, like I'm analysing everything as I do in Language lessons. Adjectives, amount of adjectives, originality. What really bugs me now as well, is that I don't read for pleasure, only to "get back" my skill. Can you help me to get back to my original state?

Homemade NaOH battery?

Every summer i make my own soap for myself for the year, this year i ordered way too much Sodium Hydroxide and German pretzels are getting old. In my garage i found a working 350 watt DC to AC power inverter so i decided to use my extra NaOH as an electrolyte in a homemade battery to use with the inverter to get a couple working outlets if the power ever goes out. I realize this battery is going to have an epic number of cells to power this thing but i'm willing to give it a shot. Long story short i am asking if anyone has experience with something like this (using NaOH as electrolyte) and if so you could save me alot of research and experimentation if you could give me some data, ie which metals to use as anode/cathode or is copper and zinc from the old grade school potato batteries still optimal, what concentration of solution is optimal, what volume of liquid/distance between electrodes, optimal surface area of said electrodes, would i be better off with a series or parallel circuit to connect the cells, things like that. This may be my first time building a legit battery that makes usable amounts of power, but being a science major i am very familiar with the chemistry so no need to dumb down the nomenclature and DEFIANTLY keep the safety lectures on caustic solutions and electrical safety to yourself, I know my way around the stuff.

Why won't my tranny engage on my jeep?

So I was driving behind a bus and as it hit the brakes, I put my 85 jeep cj7 renegade 4 speed into neutral, and as it sped back up I put it in 3rd and hut the gas while dropping the clutch. The engine revd but my jeep didn't go any faster than rolling down the hill in neutral. I thought my clutch plate had busted so I opened it up, the plate and cable and everything else was fine. Next I checked the rear differentials, they were good to go as well. I am assuming at this point that my axle splines are stripped, but don't have the equipment to check. None of the gears engage at all, but he rest seems to work fine. What could be wrong?

Brief Sickness after Sunbed?

Recently used a sun bed (Well, sun booth, it was one where you stood up)... I was only in for 3 minutes... as it was my first time using a sun bed, and im not planning on using it as a regular thing, just to take the edge of the white glow for summer low, so that i have a slight 'slow'. After i got out and got dressed,about 5 minutes later i felt really really sick, however, within a minute or two it passed? What are the chances of this being related to the sun bed or being related to something else? (At the moment im experimenting with some food intolerances i might have, so could be linked to that?) Today I logged into Facebook to find a post by my sister that said "I think its funny how Alli starves herself" first of all I eat more meals than my sister every single day and I am constantly eating. I am 5' 4" and i weigh barely 100 lbs. so of course I look skinnier than the average 15 year old. But anyway, when I asked my sister to delete it off her Facebook because I dont want people to think I actually do starve myself she told me that she would. the next thing I know she commented on her first post that said "yaaa I think alli's mad" OF COURSE I MAD SHES PUTTING FALSE INFORMATION OUT TO THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!! my mom found out and she yelled at me and not my sister... I got a lecture on how I am too sensitive and that I shouldn't care what my sister says about me and that being sensitive is stupid. Honestly I am upset because no one should talk about others that way. Then my mom grounded me from Facebook for two days sentenced me to my room and told me that she is going to deactivate my Facebook the next time this happens. every five minutes my mom calls me into the computer room to show me my Facebook and brag about how shes allowed to log into it and im not....do i deserve to be punished like this?
